Our team had the privilege of attending and exhibiting at the Golden Thread Fire Delay & BSA Golden Thread Fire Safety Conference in London — and what an inspiring day it was.
The conference brought together a wide range of professionals, all united by a common goal: to make buildings safer, strengthen compliance, and ultimately protect lives. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about the future of fire safety, share experiences, and hear new perspectives.
One of the highlights of the day was listening to the keynote address from Dame Judith Hackitt, whose work has been pivotal in reshaping building safety following the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Her insights reminded us just how vital it is that the “golden thread” of information runs seamlessly through every stage of a building’s life-cycle, from design and construction to ongoing management. This principle is not just about compliance, but about accountability, transparency, and a culture shift in the way safety is prioritised.
For us, one of the most rewarding aspects of the day was the chance to connect with like-minded professionals who share our passion for driving positive change in the industry. Events like this remind us that collaboration is key, progress happens when experts, regulators, and organisations come together with a shared commitment to improve standards and outcomes.
